Jewish New Haven
Our area is proud to host 15 synagogues and 7 additional places of Jewish worship including Conservative, Reform and Orthodox, Chabad, a summer minyan and more. The membership of our Board of Rabbis reflects the great wealth of Jewish scholarship, devotion to Jewish life, and social action and active participation in the Jewish, interfaith and secular communities.

Yale University, located in downtown New Haven, enhances Greater New Haven community life through cultural activities and through a wealth of Jewish scholars who give their time and knowledge to teach through the Department of Jewish Education's renowned adult education programming and at synagogues.

New Haven also boasts a wide range of arts, music and other cultural activities for children and adults, including a renowned arts festival that attracts performers from all over the globe.
